Valentine's At The Baker: Burlesque & Bourbon

Don't be late for this very important date...

A vintage styled, PG-13 Burlesque show complete with 5 complimentary cocktails/mocktails, a buffet dinner, music and dancing?! Yes, please!❤
Well now, baby, pull up a chair and let your host, Madame Baker tell you what's in store...

Valentine's At The Baker: Burlesque & Bourbon is not just a show-it's a full-bodied, champagne-voiced Valentine's rendezvous, soaked in vintage glamour and served with a wink.
From 8:00 PM to midnight (with doors opening at 7:30 for cocktails, mingling, and photo ops), The Baker becomes a velvet-draped playground of love, lust, and late-night indulgence.

The evening unfolds in five decadent acts, each themed around the many moods of romance and temptation, performed by the irresistible Roundtable Theatre Troupe in a tasteful, PG-13 burlesque style:

  • The Girl Next Door-sweet as first love
  • The Sexy Seductress-heat turned all the way up
  • The Femme Fatale-dark, bold, commanding
  • The Jaded Lover-brokenhearted with a vendetta
  • The Book Boyfriend-the perfect man from each of the earlier themes, served neat

At the start of each act, your ever-charming emcee for the night-Madam Baker (because darling, this house has a reputation to uphold)-will introduce a signature cocktail/mocktail or other drink crafted to match the mood: from sparkly and sweet to rich and cherry-kissed, dark and brooding or whiskey-laced and bitter... and yes, sugar, we won't forget your bourbon with a bite!

Between acts, you'll mingle, dance, flirt, and banter with performers and the Madam herself, because this affair is fully immersive-no sitting quietly in the corner, dollface.

Around 8:30 PM, dinner is served: a gourmet starch bar featuring decadent mac & cheese, creamy mashed potatoes, tantalizing BBQ meats, and a spread of toppings and sides that would make any post-war supper club swoon.

As for attire? This is your excuse to dress to thrill. Think date-night sexy meets 1940s dapper. Break out the fedoras, pearls, feathers, sequins, red lips, sharp suits-accessorize like you mean it, baby. The room only gets better the more you play along.

Tickets start at $103
There are multiple ticket tiers to suit every style of sweetheart:

  • Community round tables for 8
  • Premium tables for 4
  • Intimate bistros or highboys for 2
  • VIP seating for 1 or 2 right up front

Every ticket includes entry, entertainment, five complimentary drinks (one per act), and the buffet dinner. VIP guests enjoy plush premium seating, swag, and a few delicious surprises... because Mama always takes care of her favorites.
So come early, stay late, and remember-this Valentine's, The Baker isn't just setting the mood...she is the mood.

Dearest Gentle Readers,

It seems that the calm elegance of Lubbock is about to be shattered by a most dreadful affair. On the evening of March 21st, from 8-11 PM, the illustrious Historic Baker Building shall host a gathering of such refinement-and peril-that the LBK will speak of it for months to come.

Whispers tell of a Regency Ball, complete with music, sumptuous dancing, and a full buffet to tempt even the most disciplined of appetites. But beware, my dear friends, for this will not be a simple night of waltzes and whispered compliments. An immense and scandalous murder mystery awaits, and every attendee may find themselves entangled in a web of intrigue, betrayal, and secrets best left uncovered.

For those daring enough to attend, community dance lessons shall prepare you for the night's festivities, and a cash bar will ensure your courage remains sufficiently fortified. Regency attire is required, for nothing less than full elegance will suffice in this world of whispers and deception.
Tickets start at $95, but do hurry-such a scandalous affair is bound to sell quickly. Secure your passage via Eventbrite.com or by calling 806.218.8428.
Location: The Historic Baker Building, 1211 13th St, Lubbock, TX
Time: March 21st, 8-11 PM
